I can still hear the echoes from when you said "TIVO", McKaskle!

Have you had any luck on finding this out?

I think the problem is that TIVO never really took off in this country.

I've never met a single person who bought one, and consequently, I have absolutley no knowledge of them at all.

I think that's why there has been no response here.

In fact, I didn't even realise they were still available for sale. I thought they had disappeared into media history along with ITV Digital and squarials!  Cheesy

After doing some digging, apparently you DO need a subscription to their service to record channels, otherwise the TiVo box doesn't download program and schedule information. Mind you, the Channels setup has three options.  Favourites, You Receive (which I guess is for the subscribed ones) and All Channels.

What kind of connections does it have? Does it have a SCART? If it does, would it be possible to connect it to a Freeview box, set it to All Channels and see what happens?   Smiley

Aplogies for not replying sooner.

Tivo's are not for sale in this country anymore.

Tivo will still support it if you own one. To get the TV guide costs £10 per month, or £199 for life.

I belive you can do manual recordings with out a subscription.
